Plating Calculations

Please note that this is only an indication to help you have an idea
of the amount of solution required and is only for Spa Plating Solutions

Instructions:

• Choose the solution you are going to be using in the first drop down box.

• Estimate the surface area to be plated in square centimetres and type it into the second box.

• We have found a good surface area calculator that you may find useful: Calculator.

• Type the thickness required in microns into the third box. If it is less than a micron,
  for example half a micron, then type in 0.5, a quarter, 0.25 etc…

• Choose the swab type you are to use in the second drop down box.

• The figures in the gold boxes will tell you the volume of solution required in millilitres and the time of plating in minutes.
