We've taken this great piece of kit
and made it even better!
It's as portable as it
was, as the batteries in the pen mean you don't need a rectifier to
power it, but we've re-designed it with replaceable batteries; when they
run out you won't have to buy a whole new pen.
Another salient feature of the new pen is the addition of a collet which
holds the tip. This prevents flow-back of solution into the pen body and
provides a highly conductive interface between the plating solution and
the tip.
Further improvements in the gold solution also mean you'll find gold pen plating small areas
such as jewellery, watch cases, small coins and repairing contacts on
printed circuit boards even faster and more efficient. Along with the
updated fully illustrated instructions, which show clearly how to
replace the batteries, we are confident that this kit is now unique to
us and the best on the market.
