Brush gold plating a goblet

Welcome to Spa Plating
We are the leading brush plating specialists in the UK, supplying the general public and industry with gold and silver brush plating kits.

What is brush plating and how does it work?
Brush plating is a way of gold or silver plating onto metal without having to dip your work into a tank of chemicals. As in the photo on the left, the gold solution is brushed on and, with help of an electrical current from the plating machine, the precious metal in the solution bonds permanently with the surface of the work.

Could this process be useful to me?
If you are looking to set up your own plating business, or if you're involved in electronics, antiques restoration, jewellery or model making, and want to be in control of your own electroplating process, this kit is ideal for you.

Why choose us?

  • Richard Palmer, the Director of the company, is a qualified chemist with over twenty years experience in the electroplating business.

  • He has dedicated his expertise to developing a range of high quality plating solutions that, for the first time in the UK, have been specifically and exclusively designed for the process of brush electroplating.

  • One of our strengths lies in our ability to constantly up-date our product range with innovative plating solutions and to ensure our customers are fully supported with excellent, one-to-one technical advice.

  • In addition, one of our associates, Graham Baker of Gold 2U, offers a full, one-day training and backup package that will ensure you have all you need to know to get started in  this exciting process.

Gold plated golf balls, mobile phone, carrage lamp and rose gold earings
Deluxe Plating Kit

The golf ball pictured above, was first sprayed with our conductive ink and then gold plated, making it an attractive trophy.

The gold plated mobile phone was plated with our gold plating solution, providing a sophisticated yet lasting finish.

The first earring has been plated with our rose gold solution, the one behind with our yellow gold.

This antique carriage lamp is made of brass, but gold plating it slows further tarnishing, which cuts down time spent on cleaning and polishing.
