Box
The main advantage of the new improved
switched Expansion Box is that it allows you
to move seamlessly through the brush plating
process, without having to plug and unplug
the connections at the rectifier. All you have to
do is flick a switch, if you want to reverse the
current for chrome stripping.
Another useful new feature is a flashing red
light which warns you when you are in stripping
mode. This helps prevent one of the
most common problems in brush plating; going
into the activation stage with the electrical
current flowing in the wrong direction, which
can cause damage to the work.
And of course, not having to stack the connections
at the rectifier keeps everything tidy and
helps prevent electrical problems.
