Plastic Plating Converter Kit

This kit is aimed at our loyal customers who have already bought the core Spa Plating equipment and would like to simply add on the essentials for plating on plastics and other non-conductive surfaces.

After much research, we’ve discovered that the best sequence for plating on non-conductive surfaces is as follows;

1. Undercoat the surface with spray-on lacquer

2. Apply our Conductive Ink

3. Build up a layer of PP Copper*

4. If wanting to gold plate, plate a barrier layer of nickel, white bronze, palladium or white palladium

5. Gold Plate

Everything you need can be bought either directly from us or through our distributors. This kit contains these crucial elements;

• Conductive Ink - extremely conductive and easily applied with a brush
  

• Conductor Strips - increase the surface area of electrical contact which dramatically increases plating speeds and minimises the chance of scratching the thin conductive coating
  

• Copper Plating Solution which, when mixed with our Bronze Mixer at a ratio of 1:1, creates white bronze which can be used as a substitute for Nickel Plating Solution
