Copper Replenisher B is designed to be used alongside our Copper Replenisher A to help maintain stable bath chemistry when operating plating solutions with our platinised titanium (platinum) electrodes.
During plating, the copper is replaced using Copper Replenisher A. Over time this process can gradually increase the sulphuric acid level of the solution.
Copper Replenisher B provides a controlled way of moderating this increase by supplying copper in a form that reacts with excess acid already present in the bath.
Used periodically alongside normal copper replenishment, it allows operators to maintain tighter control of bath acidity during extended plating runs and can significantly prolong the useful life of the plating solution.

Copper Replenisher B
Acid Balance Control for Copper Plating Baths
Copper Replenisher B is designed to be used in conjunction with Copper Replenisher A to help maintain stable bath chemistry in acid copper plating and electroforming baths that operate with insoluble anodes.
In systems using platinised titanium (platinum) anodes, copper is deposited onto the workpiece but is not replenished through anode dissolution. Copper must therefore be replaced chemically, typically by adding copper sulphate using Copper Replenisher A.
While copper sulphate additions restore the copper content of the bath, they also cause sulphuric acid levels to gradually increase during extended operation.
Copper Replenisher B helps control this increase by supplying copper in a form that reacts with sulphuric acid already present in the solution to generate copper sulphate directly within the bath.

Copper Replenishment in the CopperPro System
CopperPro electroforming systems use insoluble (platinised titanium) anodes. Because the anodes do not dissolve during operation, copper deposited onto the workpiece must be replaced chemically.
The CopperPro system uses two complementary replenishment products to maintain both copper concentration and bath acidity within the optimal operating range.
Copper Replenisher A
Copper Replenisher A is used to replace the copper plated out during operation and to gradually establish the desired operating acidity of the bath.
CopperPro solution is supplied at a transport-friendly pH of approximately 2. During normal operation, additions of Copper Replenisher replace deposited copper and progressively increase the acidity of the solution until the preferred operating pH is reached.
Copper Replenisher B
Once the desired operating acidity has been established, Copper Replenisher B can be used periodically to replace copper while helping to maintain the bath at a stable acidity.
Used together, these two replenishment products allow operators to establish their preferred operating conditions and then maintain them consistently during extended electroforming runs.
