This stainless steel activator for tank plating will help you plate an adhesive layer of gold plate on most ferritic and martensitic groups of stainless steel.
We suggest using our Gold Strike Brush and Tank. for difficult-to-plate stainless steel alloys, in particular those belonging to the duplex and austenitic group.
Please note this plating solution contains nickel.

Notes
- The nickel electrodes need to be removed from the solution while not in use as
they will slowly dissolve.
- Using nickel electrodes is strongly advised as this eliminates the risk of evolution of chlorine gas.
- Best results, especially with difficult-to-plate stainless steel alloys can be obtained
at 40 °C at a plating factor of 0.05A/cm2
