Palladium Tank Plating Kit – 1 Litre

Our Palladium Tank Plating Kit – 1 Litre is a great option for re-plating white gold jewellery. The price of the kit includes 1 Litre of our Palladium Tank Plating Solution. This contains 6 grams of palladium per litre and we can ship it outside the UK and EU. Because of this it a good substitute for our transport restricted rhodium and platinum plating processes.

Scaling up or down; you can scale the volume of your kit up or down by swapping in different volumes of our plating beakers. You can also switch easily between our different plating solutions, as the Spa Plating tank plating process is very similar across all of our tanks plating solutions.

If you want to scale down the volume of the 1 litre kit to a 500ml kit for example, these are the core items you will need to change;

Palladium Tank Plating Kit – 500ml

Palladium Tank Plating Solution – 500ml

Cleaner – 500ml

Stainless mesh electrode – 500ml

Stirring Bar – Medium

Plating Beaker – 500ml

Mesh electrode – 500ml

Beaker Lid – 500ml x 2

Rinse beakers x 6 – 500ml

These same core products can be scaled down further to 250ml or up to 2 litres.

The rest of the items on the kit list can stay.

Copper Electroforming Replenisher

Copper Electroforming Replenisher powder is required for customers using Platinum Rod Electrodes as anodes. This is because the copper plated out from the solution is not replaced when using Platinum Rod Electrodes.
Use our Copper Electroforming Calculator to work out how much replenisher to add.
We strongly recommend the use of our Copper Electroforming Solution Tracker sheet to keep of record of the solution and establish when it’s necessary to replace the bath.
The tracker can be downloaded by clicking Here.

Please note that customers using our Copper Rod Electrodes as anodes should only use Copper Electroforming Replenisher powder if bulk solution is lost due to spillage or excessive drag-out of solution from the tank.

Battery Powered Plating Pen

Battery Powered Plating Pen

Get complete plating portability with our battery powered plating pen. Ships with 3 x AAA long life batteries included. Ideal for gold plating jewellery and PCBs. This plating pen forms the core product in three of our pen plating kits; the battery powered gold and silver pen plating kit, the battery powered brush and pen plating kit .
Please note the Battery Powered Plating Pen includes the Platinum Pen Electrode but does not include nibs.

This pen includes a crocodile clip protector which should be slipped over the crocodile clip between uses. This prevents the crocodile clip touching the battery pen electrode and running down the batteries while the pen is in storage. Please click on the ‘Examples’ tag for guidance on this.

Tin Brush Plating Solution

Our multi-use tin plating solution has applications ranging from the cookware industry through to high-end electronics. Recommended electrode – platinum.

Please note: This is an air-sensitive solution. When not in use, keep the lid tightly shut and take measures to minimise the air space remaining in the bottle. These can include adding marbles or glass beads to the bottle, squeezing out the excess air at the top of the bottle or drawing up and storing the solution in one of our storage syringes.

Failure to observe the above precautions will result in the degeneration of the tin in the solution.
Please click on the ‘Examples’ tab below for suggestions on how to minimise air contamination.
