Nickel Brush Plating Solution is mainly used for plating a barrier layer when plating on copper and copper containing alloys. It can also be used as a decorative finish by itself.

Our Nickel Brush Plating Solution is ideal for plating a barrier layer between layers of gold plate and copper and copper containing alloys such as brass. If it is to be used as a barrier layer, please plate to at least 2 microns.  An alternative barrier layer could be our white bronze or our Palladium Brush or Tank Solution.

Our brush plating equipment is powered by our EasyPlater. It’s very straightforward to use, compact and lightweight.

Features Application
Bright finish
  • Can be used as a barrier layer between copper and gold – very useful when plating on non-conductive surfaces. When used for this function, plate to at least a 2 microns thickness.
  • Once plated can be abraded to produce a scratched or ‘brush’ finish
  • Use the Carbon, Nickel or Platinum electrode

  • We strongly advise against the use of stainless steel anodes for most of our plating processes
  • Plating rates are calculated over a sample area which is permanently covered by swab.
  • Nickel Brush Plating Solution plates a slightly whiter shade than Nickel Pen Plating Solution.
